Job Opportunity

The role of Sandwich Artist offers a dynamic and engaging work environment.

We have multiple positions available at Subway stores in the Dandenong area, including Dandenong South and Dandenong HQ. Shifts scheduled: Morning, Day/Lunch, and Evening.

  • Morning staff
  • Day/Lunch staff
  • Evening shift

This is an excellent opportunity for school-going students or individuals looking to start a career in the food industry. Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food preparation, including bread and cookie baking
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food storage and preparation areas according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
  • Comply with Food Code of Practice
  • Till Operator
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Checking in deliveries
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Follow security & safety procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
  • Present yourself professionally in the provided uniform to meet customer expectations
  • Work as a team member
  • Deliver exceptional customer service when dealing with products, sales, and catering needs

As a Sandwich Artist, you will serve and add value to customer needs efficiently and effectively while promoting the Subway brand awareness and ensuring hygiene standards are met. This challenging yet rewarding role has opportunities to develop into supervisory and managerial roles.
