Job Title: Community Health Worker

The role involves delivering primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You will be responsible for conducting health assessments, providing education and support, and promoting healthy behaviors.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a Certificate III or IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care, and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Health Practitioner. Experience working in a similar role is highly desirable.

You will have well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. You will also have a strong understanding of the unique issues affecting these communities in the region.
