Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity to excel as a senior clinician in our dynamic recovery-focused team. The senior Occupational Therapist will provide strategic leadership and guidance, delivering high-level interventions for our clients.

  • The role will also contribute to the development of occupational and diversional interventions within our integrated care model between inpatient and community services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Deliver advanced interventions for clients.
  • Participate in organisational decision-making regarding occupational and diversional strategies.
Selection Criteria
  • Must hold general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to be registered at time of commencement.
  • Demonstrate extensive postgraduate clinical experience in Mental Health Occupational Therapy.
  • Exhibit excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills, including the ability to interact constructively with all stakeholders.
  • Display ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery.
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply advanced reasoning skills.
  • Initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives.
  • Exhibit commitment to consumer participation and recovery focus.
  • Hold a current New South Wales driver's licence.
