Job Role:

Support Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Support Care Professional to assist clients with daily living activities and provide support services in their own home. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and empowering clients to maintain their independence.

  • Promote Client Choice and positive routines, ensuring they align with the client's needs and preferences.
  • Work flexible shifts, including set time blocks and rostered patterns.
  • Assist with driving clients and company vehicles.
  • Proactively support clients to enhance their life choices and well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in client health, care plans, or additional service requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and activities through regular communication review.
  • Ensure the safety and dignity of clients, colleagues, and self by adhering to workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Protect client confidentiality and uphold their rights at all times.

Key Responsibilities Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support services, promoting client autonomy, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • A valid full driver's license.
  • A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR training.
  • A reliable motor vehicle, including valid registration and comprehensive insurance.
  • A smart mobile phone or device.
  • NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Police Clearance (within 6 months or willingness to obtain one).
  • Proficiency in using computers, systems, and applications.
  • A commitment to embracing a meaningful role that contributes to the community and personal growth.
