Cloud Platform Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Cloud Platform Specialist.

This role will be responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of product and platform services, and infrastructure that powers Atlassian Cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a strong depth of knowledge in modern web architectures and distributed systems, with expertise in Javascript (React JS).

A keen interest in open source and learning new technologies is also essential.

The successful candidate will be able to build performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for sharing knowledge with teammates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain product and platform services, and infrastructure that powers Atlassian Cloud.
  • Shape the Atlassian Cloud Platform by designing, implementing, integrating, tuning, and resolving issues with new micro-services, software libraries, tools, and applications.
  • Collaborate with a team of amazing developers and designers to build simple, beautiful, and consistent user experiences for our web apps.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, where team members challenge each other to improve their work.
Requirements
  • Strong experience across the board with a strong depth of knowledge in Javascript (React JS).
  • Keen interest in open source and learning new technologies.
  • Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Enjoyment of sharing knowledge with teammates, and working collaboratively when needed.
