Data Governance and Risk Expert

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance and Risk Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and risk analysis, with excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • This role requires a deep understanding of data governance principles, risk management methodologies, and the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify and assess data risks, develop mitigating controls, and improve overall data quality.
About the Role

As a Data Governance and Risk Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying data gaps and recommending strategic remediation
  • Mentoring team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Developing and maintaining data governance methodologies
  • Providing advisory support on data-related matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in data management or operational risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management tools
