Physiotherapist Role

Job Description

As a physiotherapist with our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to Defence Force personnel. You will assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote optimal health and function.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian citizenship is required for security clearance purposes.
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment or part-time equivalent is necessary.
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA is required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification is also needed.
  • Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association is desirable.

About Our Centre

Our centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical and mental health services to approximately 500 members. We are located at the Army Aviation Centre 3km outside Oakey and offer standard operating hours of generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday.
