Administrative Support Specialist

The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative services to enable the Councils to meet their statutory requirements regarding the regulation of health practitioners in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process complaints received by the Councils in relation to potential misconduct.
  • Manage health practitioners whose health is impaired, ensuring they are fit to practice.
  • Manage health practitioners whose professional performance is unsatisfactory, facilitating improvement where possible.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality administrative support to committees and delegates, preferably within a regulatory environment.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and proven ability to manage high-volume workloads, work autonomously and be proactive.
  • High level of understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements; ability to be sensitive and discreet in a range of situations.
  • Experience in reviewing and developing operational policies and procedures.
