Child Development Centre Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children from toddler to school age.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting. They will also have a solid understanding of child development principles and be able to plan and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to maintain accurate records of children's progress, collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive program, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality educational programming for children aged 0-12 years
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share information about their child's progress and experiences
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about program developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Solid knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, and related professional standards
  • Superior professionalism and interpersonal skills; high initiative and dedication
