About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide and coordinate Speech Pathology services to clients seen in the Statewide Audiology Service, including the Tasmanian Cochlear Implant Clinic and Diagnostic Audiology Clinic.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Broad knowledge of and experience in providing paediatric speech pathology services within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the impact of hearing loss on speech, language and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and initiative to work with minimum supervision in a complex working environment.
Requirements:
">The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Applied Science, Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, as well as current Working with Children Registration.
">What We Offer:
">- A permanent, part-time day worker position, working 10.25 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
- Negotiable hours with the successful applicant.
- A salary range of $110,425 to $119,290 per annum (pro rata), with access to salaries beyond this range subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
- A Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.
- Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
