As a speech pathology professional, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering life-changing support to individuals with disabilities in New South Wales.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support to participants.
  • Utilise your clinical skills to assess, plan, and implement speech therapy interventions tailored to each participant's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses, informing goal setting and intervention planning.
  2. Develop and implement individualised speech therapy plans using standardised and non-standardised assessments.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated support to participants, promoting independence, access, and wellbeing.
  4. Work in various settings, including clinics, community environments, schools, homes, workplaces, or community locations.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
  • A passion for working within a collaborative team environment.
  • A desire to make a meaningful impact in the community.
  • Experience delivering services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
