As a Social Worker in our Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Program, you will play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of mothers and babies. Your primary objective will be to enhance women's access to antenatal and post-natal services, as well as provide support and guidance to vulnerable families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve women's access to healthcare services
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to mothers and families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver health promotion messages and reduce risk behaviors
  • Engage with diverse and vulnerable families to promote healthy behaviors and improve health outcomes

Requirements
  • Recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work (Bachelor or Master of Social Work)
  • Community Based Outreach experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in engagement with diverse and vulnerable families
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
