About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions team at Conflux Technology Pty. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-value proposals for cutting-edge applications.

As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our R&D and Engineering teams to create innovative solutions for clients leveraging our advanced thermal technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the custodian of customer value, ensuring every solution maximises customer benefits and aligns with their strategic goals.
  • Engage with customers to deeply understand their technical requirements and business challenges.
  • Create and deliver innovative solutions for clients, working closely with R&D and Engineering teams.
  • Develop, estimate, write, and present technical and project scope proposals.
  • Coach and mentor team members to uphold our standard of value-focused solutions.
  • Manage and continuously improve the technical sales process.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and advancements in thermal solutions to stay ahead in the market.
About You

We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong solution development skills matched with commercial business acumen. You will rapidly understand complex customer circumstances and gain trust, whilst identifying and articulating the value Conflux can add.

You will have a proven track record in engineering and pre-sales sales and have a demonstrable understanding of thermal engineering and/or additive manufacturing.

You will be highly organised, with excellent written communication and presentation skills and be prepared to lead and motivate a team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering role.
  • Proven track record in Engineering or technical sales.
  • Knowledge of thermal technologies, additive manufacturing, or aerospace manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, adept at developing solutions that drive tangible business value.

About Conflux Technology Pty

We are a leading provider of metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) solutions for heat exchange applications. Our revolutionary heat exchange technology transforms product and system performance across space, next gen aviation, defence, automotive and industrial industries.

We are entering an exciting growth phase and require a Lead Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions team in a newly created role.

This is a Full Time position with remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience.

Some work outside of standard hours will be required on occasions due to the nature of additive manufacturing.
