Corporate Account Director Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Account Director to play a pivotal role in our growth strategy. This key position involves working directly with strategic clients to create bespoke underwriting solutions that make a tangible difference.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire policy lifecycle for corporate accounts across various regions, from initial underwriting through to renewals and adjustments.
  • Leverage our Risk Solutions function to provide comprehensive protection strategies addressing clients' unique challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Managers, Client & Broker Engagement teams, and Risk Solution specialists to develop holistic approaches.
  • Develop and execute targeted business development plans to identify and convert new corporate opportunities while maximising renewal retention.
  • Negotiate terms directly with brokers, empowering you to create tailored solutions for complex risks.
  • Support organisations contributing to community wellbeing through specialist sectors.

About You:

  • You are a relationship builder with strong technical underwriting foundations.
  • You have established relationships in the broker market, particularly in core sectors.
  • You excel at stakeholder management across different organisation levels, teams, and functions.
  • You are skilled at identifying promising prospects and converting them through your technical expertise and relationship skills.
  • You are comfortable balancing client needs with strong underwriting principles.
  • You share our passion for care, education, and faith sectors.
  • You have a proven track record of profitable growth in underwriting or corporate broking.
