About the RoleWe are currently seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team in the Southwest Region. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- To provide comprehensive nursing care to our customers, working collaboratively with the service delivery team and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- To conduct thorough assessments, develop individualised care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve customer health and wellbeing.
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the quality of care provided.
- To work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager to identify and manage clinical corrective actions, ensuring that our customers receive the highest standard of care.
- To communicate effectively with customers, carers, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure seamless coordination of care and services.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and knowledge in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care.
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, reflected in problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, and report writing.
- Ability to advocate for customers, families, and carers within a multi-disciplinary team framework, delivering person-centred care.
- Knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement, clinical audits, and accreditation processes.
- Knowledge of NDIS requirements and relevant legislation.
- Experience and knowledge in using health management IT systems.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- A competitive salary package, including up to $$85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
