Senior Business Analyst - Energy Transition

Join a dynamic team focused on delivering critical infrastructure projects and transactions that contribute to the energy transition in Australia.

The Senior Business Analyst, Energy Transition will play a key role in supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and transactions. This includes planning, drafting, and delivering key elements of commercial designs and tenders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the private sector or government with demonstrated ability to contribute towards delivery of complex infrastructure projects, transactions, or financing. They will also possess excellent professionalism, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as a strong interest in and curiosity about energy transition.

About the Role:

The Senior Business Analyst, Energy Transition will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Manager, Product and Financial Value, in planning and delivering important aspects of Company's tenders, including commercial designs, tender collateral, and tender analysis.
  • Supporting and preparing high-quality written materials to facilitate tenders, inform, and educate stakeholders.
  • Undertaking advanced commercial and financial analysis before and during the assessment, including policy positions with high levels of future uncertainty.
  • Communicating with tender proponents and other stakeholders to deliver company commercial objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in the private sector or government with demonstrated ability to contribute towards delivery of complex infrastructure projects, transactions, or financing.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, drafting, and delivering complex documents, financial models, or energy market modelling analysis.
  • Education qualifications in engineering, finance, law, economics, or similar and/or equivalent work experience in financing or evaluating energy infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modelling.
  • Exceptional professionalism, communication, and collaboration skills.
