The primary objective of the Information Security Specialist is to develop and implement cutting-edge security measures that ensure the integrity of our systems and data.
This involves designing and deploying robust security protocols, conducting thorough risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Implement and monitor security controls, including access controls, intrusion detection, and encryption.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy secure systems and architectures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends, and recommend adjustments to security protocols as needed.
- Proven experience in information security with a strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CISSP or CEH certification.
- Experience with cloud security platforms and tools.
