Farm Operations Specialist

Job Opportunity:
The role of a Dairy Cattle Farm Operator is available in a fast-paced farm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate milking equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and safe milk production.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent malfunctions and identify potential issues.
- Assist with livestock care, including feeding, breeding, and veterinary procedures.
- Monitor and record milk production levels, cow health, and other key metrics to inform decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- AQF certificate II or III in Agriculture (or equivalent).
- At least one year of recent and relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with dairy cattle.
- Knowledge of farm management software and systems.
