Game Development Professional

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to assist in the creation and development of poker machine (slot) games.

The successful candidate will contribute ideas for initial concepts, design mathematical models, perform payback calculations, and run simulations to verify correctness.

They will also be responsible for creating submission documents for gaming regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating concepts for new poker machine games that maximize player appeal and game performance.
  • Design fun and innovative math models.
  • Perform all math model calculations for assigned games.
  • Create programming tools to verify math models and analyze gameplay characteristics.
  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets for regulatory submission.
  • Review other Game Designer's calculations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in mathematics, especially probability and statistics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, especially in the use of linking and formulas.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and high personal integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong mathematical component, or equivalent experience.
