About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Woolworths Group. As an HVAC Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our internal teams, particularly Facilities Management and Construction, in the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems across our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the interpretation of store HVAC design intent and identify solutions where challenges arise on site.
  • Collaborate with the Standards Team to ensure the Woolworths HVAC Specification is kept current and reflects best practice manufacturing standards.
  • Develop and execute strategies for HVAC assets with a focus on optimised life cycle outcomes.
  • Develop networks and strategic partnerships with key technology providers, consultants, and education institutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree (Washington Accord recognised) qualifications in engineering and qualify for registration with state based or national professional body of engineers.
  • Extensive experience in a HVAC engineering role, preferably in a design capacity.
  • Project management skills, project evaluation models, and financial skills, documentation, and implementation management.
