The Role

We're seeking an energetic and driven Venue Manager to lead our team at Holey Moley and Hijinx Hotel in Chermside. As a Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for leading with energy, boosting revenue, creating WOW spaces, supporting your team, managing operations, cultivating culture, and growing and shining.

Responsibilities
  • Lead with Energy: Be a hands-on, guest-focused leader who motivates your team to create unforgettable experiences.
  • Boost Revenue: Drive up and cross selling to enhance the guest experience and go the extra mile to wow our guests.
  • Create WOW Spaces: Transform your venue into the ultimate FUN destination.
  • Support Your Team: Inspire and mentor a high-energy team of customer service, bartender, and function host professionals.
  • Manage Operations: Take control of front of house and back of house portfolios, including rosters, recruitment, training, P&L management, forecasting, and more.
  • Cultivate Culture: Build a collaborative, inclusive vibe that makes coming to work exciting.
  • Grow and Shine: Amplify your skills and those of your team while mastering all aspects of a bustling entertainment venue.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 Years' Experience: Managing a busy entertainment/hospitality venue.
  • Valid RSA and Working with Children Check: Essential for this role.
  • Night and Weekend Availability: Required for shifts.
  • Guest-Focused Approach: A must for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
