About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Childcare Assistant - Part Time. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming)
  • Support with ensuring your program is compliant according to industry regulations
  • Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible
  • Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend
  • Play and have fun with primary school aged children
  • Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program

Requirements

  • You're passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun
  • You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude
  • Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Desirable: You are qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Education, Youth, Sports Science, Social Work, Health related, and many more...
