About This Role

We are seeking a skilled culinary professional to join our team as a Pastry Commis in the Pastry Department. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastry items that exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing pastry products
  • Work in the Pastry Kitchen servicing both the Promenade Cafe and Tea Lounge
  • Maintain assigned station/section in a clean and orderly manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's work experience
  • Experience in luxury international brands highly regarded
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
  • A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
