Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the store manager to drive innovation and success by creating a creative plan that fosters an exemplary in-store team.
  • Support the store manager in building a team of customer-focused individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
  • Assist in developing a customer-centric team by participating in training sessions, providing constructive feedback, and observing leadership strategies.
  • Delegate tasks to your management team to achieve the needs of the customer and the store while promoting out-of-the-box thinking and collaboration.
  • Contribute to managing the store's finances by assisting in setting annual targets, driving sales, and understanding how to control staffing levels and stock to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a beautiful store with effective merchandising, high standards of cleanliness, and strong stock management that enhance the customers' experience.
  • Develop relationships within your local community to enhance the customers' experience when they visit the store.
  • Engage in personal development by utilizing training opportunities, collaborating with other teams, and gaining exposure to various aspects of the business.
  • Create and facilitate a shopping experience that encourages your team to consistently make their customers' day.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Customer Service: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, leading by example, and ensuring your team provides 5-star service. Our stores aim to be an oasis of kindness where we deliver memorable experiences that make our customers' day.

Management Skills: Ability to navigate challenging conversations, set and manage expectations, and support your management team. As a trainee manager, you must balance the needs of the business with maintaining and motivating the team's morale.

Teamwork: Consistently lead by example on the shop floor, work with your team to achieve goals, and maintain a positive and supportive work environment through team development.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to share business messages throughout the store and work with retailers, your manager, and stores locally.
