We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager to join our Sterilising Services Team at Brisbane Private Hospital. As a key member of the Perioperative leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating an exceptional service that is evidence-based and of a high standard, consistent with AS 5369:2023 and infection control guidelines.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Rostering experience
- Experience leading high-performing teams with a service excellence approach
- Ability to communicate with influence
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrate a good knowledge base in labour management
- A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer-focused care
The successful applicant will have:
- Certificate IV in Sterilisation (preferred)
- AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a senior role within a CSSD, minimum 2 years in leadership/management position
- Sound knowledge and application of accreditation standards, AS/NZ 5369:2023 standards and HICMR
- Consultative leadership style and sound negotiation skills
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- An interest in promoting best practice patient care and strong sense of customer service
- A focus on professional development
