About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Category Manager to join our Commercial team at Coles Group. In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Category Manager Seafood to develop innovative strategies and drive category growth.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing category plans to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms
  • Managing trade planning, ranging, and promotional activities
  • Providing insights and recommendations to inform category strategy
  • Leading cross-functional projects to drive business outcomes

You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams. If you're a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for category management, we'd love to hear from you.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in category management or a related field
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
