About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Avmax Group - Australia. As a Senior Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and identifying new opportunities to solicit new clients for the Avmax Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and identify new opportunities to solicit new clients for the Avmax Group of Companies.
  • Conduct market research and build a solid pipeline of potential clients to contact regarding the sale of parts, aircraft, etc.
  • Analyze trends in the industry and among competitors to develop proposals for future growth opportunities.
  • Responsible to track the rate at which sales revenue is growing.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs for equipment.
  • Engage with clients and build lasting relationships to maximize sales.
  • Liaise with suppliers and various departments to ensure timely delivery of customers' needs.
  • Continually meet targets, KPI's and sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Travel to meet clients when and where required.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Responsible to ensure growth in the Australian and Asia Pacific aviation market.
  • Provide quotations and conduct sales transactions in Quantum (internal program).
  • Consult with clients after sale to resolve potential issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate, monitor and follow up on invoicing activities as required.
  • Drive the sales strategy; determine short-term and long-term strategies and be accountable for the achievement of sales goals and deliverables.
  • Provide onsite assistance to ensure local warehouse is running efficiently from an aviation perspective.

Requirements:

  • Proven work track record in sales.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target driven.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, preferably but not necessarily, within the aviation industry, leasing or similar. If you are a proven salesperson in any industry, we encourage you to apply.
  • Aviation experience is considered a strong asset.
