Job Description

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will form a vital partnership between our operational business unit and People, Culture and Safety team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective, accurate, and timely human resources support, advice, and coaching to managers and employees;
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment;
  • Contributing to program development, talent management, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, performance management, and employee relations initiatives;
  • Driving key projects and initiatives that promote a high-performing culture and organisational sustainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a not-for-profit, family community services, mental health, disability, or volunteer environment;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources management, business, or psychology;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
  • A results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and sound judgement;
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, enabling you to prioritise tasks and navigate complexity.

Benefits

You will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package of $120,000 - $130,000, inclusive of superannuation, commensurate with your experience. Our salary packaging arrangement allows you to enjoy additional benefits, including up to $18,550 for living expenses and up to $2,650 for meals/entertainment. This represents a significant advantage, equivalent to an additional gross salary of $141,229 without salary packaging.
