About The RoleThe Laycock Street Community Theatre and Peninsula Theatre are valued community assets delivering diverse productions to thousands of patrons each week.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Be the welcoming face of the Theatre at performances and events promoting a safe environment for all staff and guests
- Provide exceptional customer service ensuring a positive experience for patrons, producers, artists, and production personnel
- Serve customers at the bar, monitor stock levels, and assist with deliveries as required
- Assist patrons with check in processes, seating, and ticketing information, and aid patrons with accessibility needs
We seek an individual with experience in fast-paced customer-facing roles in events or hospitality, where you have served food and beverages and used point-of-sale systems.
You should be able to provide an exceptional customer experience, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy connecting with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
A proactive problem solver who can think on your feet and use initiative to achieve results is essential. Being part of a positive, flexible, and supportive team is vital.
Please note that a Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and a Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) are necessary qualifications.
