Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Canine Care Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise groups of dogs, ensuring their overall wellbeing and safety through effective management of their behaviours.
  • Provide canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities, promoting mental stimulation and exercise.
  • Implement daily leadership and training activities, focusing on positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Frequently clean and maintain facilities, upholding high standards of hygiene and organisation.
  • BUILD strong relationships with dog owners through regular feedback and transparent communication.
  • Develop and disseminate engaging media content for dog owners, including videos and photos.
  • Manage daily administration tasks, such as responding to enquiries, recording dog behaviours, and preparing documents for dog owners.
Requirements
  • Able to attend an unpaid work trial shift, adhering to The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines.
  • Confident in physically handling larger dog breeds.
  • Exemplary communication and empathetic skills, enabling strong relationships with dog owners.
  • Able to work extended periods, often on feet, in a high-pressure environment.
  • A passion for canine behaviour and training, with a desire to continually develop expertise.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including emails and booking platforms, as well as phone applications for social media, filming, and editing basic video content.
