About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead proactive and effective compliance management under an Environmental Protection Licence.

  • Lead EPL monitoring activities, including regulator-issued notices
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of compliance data and database systems
  • Develop compliance dashboards for reporting and trend analysis
  • Prepare periodic reports and engage stakeholders to meet compliance requirements
  • Implement updates from water quality reviews and discharge point assessments
  • Support external audits
  • Manage delivery of environmental areas such as air, water, noise, dust, and waste
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to drive environmental performance
  • Support incident response and ensure timely reporting to regulators
  • Represent the organization in external forums and regulatory site inspections

About You

You have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline, along with demonstrated experience in mining, civil construction, utilities or similar industries—particularly with a focus on soil, water, and contamination management.

You possess strong analytical skills, managing databases and tools. Your communication skills are excellent, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly across all levels and formats.

The successful candidate will be based in Cooma and is offered a relocation package to support their move to this region.
