Infrastructure Strategist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing secure, efficient hybrid infrastructure environments that integrate on-premises and cloud resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artefacts, including IT strategies and roadmaps for transitioning workloads to cloud services and decommissioning on-premises infrastructure.
  • Provide architectural leadership and ensure alignment with the enterprise IT strategy across various projects and stakeholders.
  • Design resilient, scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions connecting on-premise, Azure, M365, D365, and Oracle ERP platforms.
  • Implement security measures and compliance controls across the technical landscape, including network security, access management, and data protection, extending these considerations to integrated cloud services.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to deliver new technology services that meet APRA's standards, security requirements, and existing service integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • SIGNIFICANT experience in Information Technology with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure architecture and operations in a hybrid cloud configuration.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical designs, focusing on resilience, recoverability, performance, cost, and security.
  • Good understanding and experience of disaster recovery and business continuity planning for infrastructure.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure and transitioning services to cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including Traffic Management, Secure Access Service Edge, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Express Route Private Peering.
