
Financial Crime and Gaming Compliance Assurance Specialist Role

This role is focused on developing and implementing assurance reviews to ensure compliance with financial crime and gaming regulations.
As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of our processes and systems to identify key issues and risks.
With your expertise in AML/CTF regulations and gaming compliance, you will work closely with our Line 1 teams to plan and execute timely remediation and corrective actions to elevate compliance levels.
Through ongoing assurance reviews, you will provide actionable insights to improve the control environment and support the establishment of reporting dashboards to track thematic and connected risk patterns.
As part of our Group Risk and Compliance team, you will contribute to the design of policies and frameworks that support compliant outcomes and provide input into the successful delivery of Financial Crime and Regulatory transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough reviews of our processes and systems to identify key issues and risks.
- Develop and implement assurance plans and compliance test plans to assess the effectiveness of financial crime processes, systems, and controls.
- Collaborate with our Line 1 teams to plan and execute timely remediation and corrective actions to elevate compliance levels.
- Provide actionable insights to improve the control environment and support the establishment of reporting dashboards to track thematic and connected risk patterns.
- 2+ years of experience in controls testing/reviews in financial crime or gaming compliance risk.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to effectively identify and unpack discrepancies.
- Industry knowledge including deep understanding of AML/CTF legislation.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and create detailed process maps.
