Job Opportunity: Mental Health Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nursing Specialist to join our team in Goulburn.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. They will provide supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based mental health nursing care using best practice principles
  • Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Clinical Experience: Recent clinical experience relevant to the position
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload, deliver care with integrity and accountability, and effectively communicate with others
