To be successful in this position, you will need to possess the following key qualities:
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory) or relevant experience
  • A valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle
  • A satisfactory Police Records Check (less than 12 months old) and Working with Children Check
  • Manual handling training desirable
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Flexibility to work variable hours on a fortnightly roster
  • Availability to use your personal smartphone (iPhone or Android)
  • A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to clients in the community
  • Collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors
  • Respond to client needs with empathy and understanding
  • Maintain the safety and wellbeing of participants and comply with relevant policies
