**Your Role**

Jacobs is in search of a talented and seasoned Section Leader to manage our Advanced Facilities division across Australia and New Zealand. This crucial position involves overseeing sectors such as Science and Research, Data Centres, and Advanced Manufacturing. Our extensive offerings span the complete facility lifecycle, from initial planning and site selection to architecture, engineering, construction, and ongoing operations — all tailored to fulfill our clients' unique requirements.

As the Section Leader – Advanced Facilities, you will collaborate with the Director of Operations and provide guidance to your Section. In this capacity, you will exemplify Jacobs' core values, promoting an inclusive and diverse environment that prioritizes the well-being of your team. You will establish clear objectives and maintain a strong client-centric approach. Your ability to foster robust client relationships will be essential in identifying and anticipating client needs, ensuring our recruitment, retention, and development strategies align with these demands.

You will empower your team to remain engaged, resilient, and adaptable, motivating them to pursue innovation while ensuring exceptional project delivery, responsible commercial management, and prudent investment decisions. You will assist team members in aligning their personal objectives with key business goals to achieve Performance Unit and organizational targets, fostering fulfilling and meaningful careers within your Section.

You will also encourage your team to thrive in a global context, promoting cross-geographical collaboration to maximize the advantages of integrated global delivery for our clients and employees.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively while cultivating a positive and collaborative workplace.
  • Established network within the industry, with familiarity with key stakeholders, competitors, and industry influencers, leveraging professional relationships for business development.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and emerging opportunities, with a proactive approach to staying informed about industry developments and aligning business strategies with market demands.
  • Visionary mindset to shape long-term objectives and direction, with the capability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business success.
  • Analytical skills to assess risks, evaluate options, and make informed decisions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of market trends, including technological advancements and client preferences.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, optimize resources, and enhance profitability.
