Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly experienced HR professional to join our site operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our site management teams and driving HR initiatives that make our workplace a great place to be.


About the Role:


The HR professional will be responsible for providing expert HR advice and support to site management teams to achieve site goals. Key responsibilities include:


  • Developing and implementing comprehensive site HR plans, aligned with national HR strategies, to drive business performance
  • Managing the external and internal recruitment and selection process for site staff, ensuring timely and effective resourcing
  • Developing and implementing local remuneration and benefits strategies, ensuring equitable and market-competitive compensation
  • Leading organizational development initiatives to increase employee involvement and engagement, including culture surveys, values rollout, and succession planning
  • Managing all work-related and non-work-related injuries, ensuring legislative compliance and cost-effective management
  • Implementing national HR policies and procedures, and developing site-specific policies as needed
  • Analyzing HR data to inform business decisions and drive improvements
  • Managing Human Resource information systems, maintaining accurate and secure personnel, training, and payroll records

Key Qualifications:


  • Strong industrial relations experience and knowledge of Australian employment law
  • HR experience in a manufacturing site, ideally in the food industry
  • Ability to understand HR strategy and operationalize this effectively on a manufacturing site
  • Excellent coaching, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
