Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Accommodation Services team at Challenge Community Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential assistance to our high-needs clients, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to clients with complex needs, including those who use wheelchairs and have additional medical requirements.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a safe and inclusive living environment.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and Working With Children Check.
