Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a current security license to progress their career and be part of a dynamic and inclusive culture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, identifying and reporting risks, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and customers. They will also be required to undertake conflict resolution and de-escalation methods, regular foot and vehicle patrolling, as well as CCTV monitoring.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Identify, report, and record risks while on shift
  • Assist customers with various inquiries
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Undertake conflict resolution and de-escalation methods
  • Maintain a complete understanding of workplace protocols including emergency procedures
  • Regularly patrol on foot and by vehicle, as well as monitor CCTV
Minimum Requirements:
  • Hold a current Queensland Security License
  • Hold a current Unarmed License
  • Hold a current Crowd Control License
  • Hold a current Monitoring License
  • Hold current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Hold a current Driver's License
  • Be flexible to work within a rotating 24/7 roster
  • Exhibit high personal integrity and grooming standards
  • Ability to work events
  • Practical verbal and written communication skills
  • Incident management and reporting skills
  • CCTV monitoring
  • Well-developed client service skills
  • Customer Service experience
