Geochemical Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned environmental geochemist with 10+ years of experience in geochemical characterisation, project management and mentoring.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in geochemical and materials characterisation studies, water quality assessments and project delivery.

You will be part of a diverse team including environmental geochemistry, hydrogeology, tailings engineering and mine closure specialists. A passion for technical excellence, leadership and teamwork is essential.

This role offers opportunities to work on projects locally and internationally from our Brisbane office.

As an environmental geochemist:

You will provide expert consulting services to clients across various commodities and projects. You will use your technical knowledge and experience to deliver timely advice, recommendations and project work.

You will share your knowledge through leadership and mentoring, grow the careers of junior team members and develop new client relationships.

Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Geology, Geochemistry or Environmental Science with relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in geochemical characterisation, mineral waste management and water quality assessments.
  • Previous consulting experience and field work, including drilling supervision and geological logging.
  • Experience in designing and implementing field and laboratory investigations, managing static and kinetic geochemical laboratory programs and processing data.
  • Developed practical mineral waste management plans and solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Previous project management and business development experience.
  • Language fluency in English.
