**Job Description:**

The Residential Care Program at Berry Street provides a nurturing environment for children and young people aged 10 to 17. The program offers accommodation, physical and emotional care, and support to help them thrive.

Children in the program have endured trauma, neglect, and abuse. Our team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality therapeutic care, implementing current best practice interventions and guidelines to ensure child safety.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, active listening, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask are essential. A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.

**Benefits:**

Berry Street offers comprehensive training, including AOD, First Aid, Health & Safety. Salary packaging of $15,900 pa (pro rata) is available, plus additional salary packaging for meals/accommodation. Generous leave conditions and access to an Employee Assistance Program are also provided.
