Licensed Electrical Assessment Coordinator

The Licensed Electrical Assessment Assessor will provide exceptional customer service to candidates sitting assessments, ensuring a positive experience. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, monitoring candidates, and adhering to compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Licensed Electrical Assessments following established procedures
- Ensure candidates are monitored during the assessment process
- Adhere to Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) and Melbourne Polytechnic (MP) compliance requirements
- Set up assessment rooms prior to the assessment and verify candidate identity and eligibility
- Distribute and collect completed assessment papers
- Work with Short Courses to maintain compliance
- Set up the assessment room
- Continuously monitor designated areas to ensure candidates comply with assessment rules
- Record and report any incidents or suspected incidents compromising assessment integrity
- Respond to enquiries in a timely and confident manner, ensuring fairness and equality
- Assist in duties as instructed by the Lead LEA Assessor
- Ensure assessment paperwork is kept secure
- Verify candidate identity and confirm eligibility to sit the assessment
- Distribute and collect assessment materials, maintaining secure storage
- Conduct assessments fairly and equitably, recording student results
- Complete assessment-related paperwork in a timely manner
- A current A Grade Electrical License
- A current Working with Children Check Card (Employee)
- A minimum of Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and recent industry experience
- Strong communication skills, conveying information clearly and quietly in an assessment environment
- Experience as an Electrical Installation Inspector is desirable
- A basic understanding of influences and situations causing candidate stress during assessments
- An understanding of Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) assessment guidelines
- Knowledge of current issues in higher education and vocational education and training, particularly relating to the areas taught within the school (desirable)
