Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as an Occupational Therapist.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to adults with acquired brain injury in our community-based caseload.
Duties will include:
- Developing and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy programs.
- Maintaining contemporary practice through ongoing professional development.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
The successful candidate will also contribute to the growth and development of occupational therapy services within the organization by:
- Pursuing innovative solutions to address complex client needs.
- Providing support and guidance to junior staff members.
- Participating in education and training initiatives for healthcare professionals.
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities.
- Valid Disability Worker Check and DCSI Child related employment screening/Working with Children check.
- Experience working with adults with neurological conditions, particularly acquired brain injury.
Demonstrated expertise in:
- Clinical practice and case management.
- Practice knowledge and areas for growth/development.
