Secure Your Future as a Custody Officer

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Court Security and Custody Officer. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and security of individuals within the court precinct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the movement of people in custody throughout the facility
  • Monitor control room systems to ensure optimal security outcomes
  • Provide exceptional customer service at the front-of-house reception
  • Conduct thorough screening processes for all court sessions
  • Patrol the facility regularly to maintain a safe environment
  • Compile detailed reports on incidents, OHS issues, risks, and intelligence matters

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability with rotating shifts between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday to Friday
  • Availability to work full-time opportunities
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups
