Seeking Apprentice in Fabrication Trade

Are you eager to learn and develop your skills in fabrication trade? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a fabricator apprentice. As a fabricator, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from small-scale maintenance tasks to large-scale industrial equipment fabrication.

As a fabricator, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment, marking out jobs, setting up machines, preparing materials, tools, and fixtures for fabrication. You will also be involved in welding, cutting, and marking of fabrication sheets, applying fabrication techniques, using hand and power tools, and working with qualified tradesmen in a workshop environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fabrication trade and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the chance to work with a team of experienced professionals who will guide and support you throughout your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment
  • Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools, and fixtures for fabrication
  • Weld, cut, and mark fabrication sheets
  • Apply fabrication techniques, use hand and power tools
  • Work with qualified tradesmen in a workshop environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Commitment to on-the-job training and continuous learning
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Current driver's license or willingness to obtain
  • WHSCard (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
