The Food Services Assistant plays a vital role in providing efficient catering support services within our Home. Working alongside clinical and care services teams, this role promotes a positive dining experience for residents, focusing on their health and well-being.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare each servery and dining area according to Regis standards before meal periods.
  • Set up trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
  • Clean dishes and maintain cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
  • Assist with meal preparation when necessary.
  • Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan, including temperatures, cleaning schedules, receipt of goods, etc.
Requirements for Success
  • Prior experience in catering assistance or hospitality is beneficial but not essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
  • Effective communication skills, including writing clearly and accurately, and communicating effectively.
  • Able to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to diverse needs.
  • Digital literacy.
