Key Role of the Software Delivery Manager

The position is critical in overseeing the design, development, testing, implementation, and monitoring of software applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of software professionals to deliver high-quality software releases that meet business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements, driving innovative solutions to enhance business impact.
  • Responsible for talent acquisition, performance evaluation, and supervision of team members. Develops individual performance standards, reviews progress, and makes informed compensation decisions aligned with company policies.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement staffing and operational plans. Contribute to the creation of short and long-term department goals, while monitoring service delivery metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement changes to department policies and procedures to address evolving business needs and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Drive quality initiatives to enhance service levels and collaborate with senior leaders in planning, developing, and executing short and long-range goals.
Requirements:
  • Profound knowledge of investment management workflows.
  • Experience working with AWS platforms.
  • Strong background in Agile methodology, with experience in leading teams within this framework.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience.
  • Background in Equity Portfolio Management and UI Development is an asset.
