We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This exciting opportunity will involve managing the delivery of high voltage transmission projects, including the construction of new transmission lines and substations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in project management and leadership. They will be responsible for overseeing the production of design deliverables, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities will include reviewing design and construction plans, assigning tasks to project team members, preparing accurate project reports, and providing written reports on engineering activities as required by the Project Manager.

A competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum is being offered for this position, depending on experience.

What We're Looking For
  • A recognised degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline;
  • Previous experience as a Senior Project Engineer level managing major multi-disciplinary trade packages on large scale building or infrastructure projects;
  • Leadership ability to provide mentorship to direct reports;
  • Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost, and risk;
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to health and safety;
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally;

We require our Senior Project Engineers to work from Brisbane on a 10:4 roster. A FIFO arrangement may also be considered for the right candidate.
