Job Title: Bitumen Maintenance Labourer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated labourer to join our maintenance team at the Goondiwindi Depot. As a labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction and maintenance work teams.

  • You will perform a variety of tasks that require developed industry skills, including physical labouring tasks and operating/maintaining plant and machinery consistent with your qualifications.
  • You will work collaboratively in a team environment, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders and contributing to a healthy, safe and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To carry out a range of physical labouring tasks as required by the site supervisor or manager.
  2. To operate and maintain plant and machinery consistent with your qualifications and training.
  3. To work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  4. To communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Able to perform a broad range of tasks requiring developed industry skills.
  • Able to perform physical labouring tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand directions and to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain plant/ machinery consistent with qualifications held.
