Job Overview:

This role provides key support to dental officers and oral health therapists in delivering high-quality oral healthcare services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting and hold a recognized qualification, or be prepared to undertake relevant training.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical assistance during oral health care procedures
  • Using computer software and electronic systems to complete work tasks efficiently
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Traveling for work purposes, including driving long distances and overnight stays

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in dental assisting and relevant qualifications
  • Competency in assisting with oral health care procedures
  • Understanding of current infection control principles and procedures
  • Ability to use computer software and electronic systems effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Current Class C driver's licence

Additional Requirements:

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination requirements apply. All new employees must agree to comply with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015.
